Double-Whammy Post

Today I have a special for you - a fashion AND music post wrapped into one! Yippie! The object of today's two-in-one blog post is M.I.A and her new single, "Bad Girls". I'am absolutely in love with the Middle Eastern inspired beat and melody. Its so refreshing to hear something unique and catchy instead of something auto-tuned to imperfection. What I also love, maybe even more than the song, is the video. It features some awesome Hijab wearing, machine gun-toting backup dancers in mismatched silk prints, which I just can't get enough of! M.I.A's fashion is as crazy-cool as ever, which is no big surprise. I love how M.I.A always looks like she just rolled out of bed, didn't do her hair, and threw on everything in her closet. Her style is so wild and eccentric that it just becomes majorly on-point and trendy. I don't know how she does it (but boy do I wish I did)!
