Soooo... This little blog of mine died out quite quickly, huh? Well don't worry, I'm back (and I won't leave again....probably!) Well my first blog of 2012 will be another music post; this time the spotlight is on two bands. Cooper Point, an Arizona rock group who's songs can go from punk-pop to a beautiful, acoustic summery feeling (as displayed in their track You & I). Their cover of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus is also pretty bangin' - I like it better than the original! On the other side of the rock spectrum is She Waves The Flag. Their gritty, high energy, kick-down-a-door-while-you're-dancing music is pretty well developed for a start-up Bay Area band (these guys are really local to me - they started in my hometown!) So check these guys out, you might like what you hear :D
